Hi! I'm currently considering decorating my Manhattan apartment with a unique mural, and I'm faced with a huge selection of artists and studios. I'm curious to know how you typically choose a contractor for this kind of project? What do you look for first—the artist's style and portfolio, client reviews, price, turnaround time, or perhaps unique design approaches and personalization for a specific space? And do you have any experience working with local studios that you could recommend?

I had my living room painted by a local Manhattan crew last month, and they did a decent job. The key is to check reviews before booking some rush through the work.By the way, when I was filling their online quote form, I used a Canada fake address generator just to see if it accepts non-local info — it did 😅
