Meet Jem Fuller
Coach, author, speaker
Where did you Grow up?
Where do you currently reside?
The Great Ocean Road, Victoria, Australia
What is your professional role?
I am a leadership and communication coach, author, speaker, and retreat facilitator.
What is your top personal value?
Compassion. This means a deep understanding that everyone is doing the best they can give with who they've become and the resources available to them in the moment. I practise non-judgement of everyone.
What do you do when you aren't working?
I spend time with my family, I have a wonderful partner and 2 teenage boys. I read, surf, mountain bike, go camping, and hiking.
What makes you unique?
My diverse range of life experience: punk squatting in abandoned buildings in London, barefoot bohemian wandering around Asia for years, tattooist, fire-dancer, actor, singer/songwriter, travel consultant, senior corporate leader, kindergarten teacher, volunteer in the third world, reflexologist, Chinese masseuse, and now executive coach and international retreat facilitator, author, keynote speaker. Oh and father and partner too :)
What do you love about what you do and how do you help others?
I love helping people come to a fresh perspective on their situation in a way that makes moving forward much easier. I especially like helping leaders because the ripple effect is greater.
What is the number one goal you are trying to achieve in your professional life?
To become a best-selling author
Share your morning routine or a routine that has helped you become successful
Each morning I do a 20-minute meditation, 30 minutes exercise, get the kids ready for school, and then start working.
Do you have a before story where life wasn't great?
I got caught up in a corporate role, where I was out of alignment with my personal values, drinking too much alcohol, working too many hours, in an unhappy marriage, and struggling financially
Was there a catalyst that happened to inspire you to want a better life?
I had a spiritual experience in a North American Indigenous sweat lodge ritual when I realised, I believed, I wasn't good enough. That realisation changed my understanding of who I was and what I wanted out of life.
Who helped you to create the life you have today?
I helped myself initially. I went to work on myself and did the hard parts. I have always been supported by my family. I’ve spent the last 6 years in a conscious relationship and am massively supported every day by my beautiful partner.
What things did you try doing that didn't help you create a better life?
I tried working really hard in the wrong role.
What thing helped you to change and create a better life?
I brainwashed myself into believing I am enough and deserve all the abundance and success I create.
Write a letter of inspiration to those who are where you were before, what do they need to know to help them to keep trying for a better life?
There is hope. You can change your relationship with self and life. Do the work. Re-wire your beliefs and nurture your relationship with Self.
Do you have a goal or a vision of the life you want for yourself that you'd like to share with others?
I am manifesting and taking action to create the dream home for my partner and I to see out our days in.
Are you looking for something or someone who can help you get to the next level in your life?
Anyone of influence to read my book, and if you believe in it, to share it with your network.
