Business Development Position

A business development position for a sales professional with an entrepreneurial streak who will make this position their own and grow the sales department. Perfect for a business development leader who wants to have more flexibility, control over their career, and support to get stuff done.

What will you be selling?

Marketing, Advertising, Promotional, & Print services. The core product is advertising sales in digital and print. This sales position will also provide the business development specialists with a number of product and service add-ons to help fulfill client's branding and promotional needs, which will increase their compensation well beyond the projected minimum.

What is MarketAPeel?

MarketAPeel is a local marketing agency helping businesses, professionals, and individuals tell their stories to the marketplace through various channels by creating promotional content, engaging in digital storytelling, and providing print publishing services.

What will you get in compensation?

This is a 100% commission sales position. Commissions are 20% of gross sales for the core advertising product and will be $100K a year, if you meet the minimum business development sales goals. (Add-on sales are above and beyond the minimum goal compensation formula) Not a salaried position.

After six months, a Health Spending Account will be created based on a percentage of gross sales numbers each six months This is a non-taxable benefit providing you with cash to spend on the healthcare expenses you want.

You will also be provided with a modest real world networking budget.

Experience - The nice to have list

  • 5 years or more in professional sales roles / account executive / business development

  • Sales management experience

  • Advertising sales experience - preferably print

  • Service selling experience

  • CRM Management experience - you will be expected to utilize a system
